This year’s Canadian Grand Prix is the only stop in North America for the Formula One tour. The finest hotel, the most exquisite dining, plus an events program that allows everyone an opportunity to visit Quebec in a unique way. Your host is native Montrealer, Peter Bourassa of MMR.

Thursday, June 5th ~

Friday, June 6th ~
Complimentary full American breakfast in Les Continents Restaurant
Country Drive to Le Circuit in the Laurentian town of Mt.Tremblant. Guests of Ferrari of New England for lunch and shopping in the Alpine Village.
Dining: Walking Tour and dinner in OLd Montreal (Sample three restaurants)
Afterwards: Sample the Canadian Grand Prix ambience in Old Montreal.

Saturday, June 7th ~
Complimentary full American breakfast in Les Continents Restaurant
Metro to track for supporting races and F-1 qualifying
Dining: O’Noir – A unique dining experience. Great food in a very dark atmosphere.
Afterwards: Take in the Montreal Grand Prix ambience in Montreal’s Cresent Street area.

Sunday, June 8th ~
Complimentary full American breakfast in Les Continents Restaurant
Metro to the track.
View the race and drive home afterwards.
Drive back at our own pace.

Read a more complete itinerary below. Advise us as quickly as possible whether you wish to participate in our program. We will only bring ten couples. Our group will total 24 people.

Basic package #1 (three nights): Hotel, parking and race tickets, $3,260.00 per couple.

Notes: Hotel rooms are for 3 nights. There is no single night option.

Grand Prix tickets: Our seats will be in grandstand 12. If you wish to sit with us we will order tickets for you at a cost of $800.00 Cdn per couple taxes are included. Due to the subjective nature of seating arrangements, we recommend that you make your own arrangements if you prefer to sit in grandstands other than 12.

We must pay for tickets immediately and the hotel requires a deposit to hold the rooms. Only ten rooms are available and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so reserve now.

A dining and entertainment program has been developed and the cost of each program is your responsibility. Should circumstances dictate that you must cancel, we regret that no refund is possible unless one is made to us.

Hospitality and Entertainment package:We are working with people in Montreal and the surrounding area to develop a support package for our group. Parking at the Intercontinental Hotel will be in an area reserved for our group. When necessary we have arranged for a private bus to take us to and from dinner and other venues. Food in Montreal is spectacular and we have chosen the best and most interesting dining rooms in town.

Note: Passports are necessary to re-enter the USA from Canada after Jan 1/2008.

Thursday

We depart Boston at mid morning and drive at convenient speeds to the Woodstock Inn in Woodstock, Vermont for lunch. Formerly a Rock Resort and now a Five Star Alliance resort, this beautiful “hotel on the town green” offers a wonderfully sunny dining room with a wonderful view of the gardens.
A light lunch, a small glass of white wine and a delicious coffee makes for both an anticipated destination and a pleasant break along the way.

We arrive in Montreal in the mid to late afternoon and check in to our hotel; the exclusive 5 star rated Intercontinental Hotel on Rue St. Antoine Ouest in Old Montreal. We have suites in the La Tourelle section of the hotel.

Dinner at Joe Beef. Best restaurant in town. Joe beef is the name of the small tavern that once existed in this building many years ago. The attraction now is the exceptional food and ambience. The whole restaurant is ours as it only accommodates 24. Bring an appetite and an open mind.

Friday

Complimentary full American breakfast in Les Continents Restaurant: 6:00AM to 11:00 am.

We will depart the hotel at 10:00 am and drive to Mt. Tremblant. A visit to the closed event at Le circuit has been arranged for us by Ferrari of New England. After lunch at the Fairmont Hotel in the mountain village we can stroll through the village and visit the European shops.

We will be back in our hotel by 5:00PM.

Dinner: Gibby’s Steak House, just down the road from us in Old Montreal. Comfortably as it is ancient, Gibby’s is located in an historical building dating back to 1694. Read the history of this fine restaurant.

Saturday

Complimentary full American breakfast in Les Continents Restaurant: 6:00AM to 11:00AM.

Option 1: Qualifying day the Le Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. We make our way to the track for practice and qualifying for Formula 1 races and supporting events. After qualifying you stay at the track to watch supporting events or return to the city for more sightseeing.

Option 2. Ladies program beginning at 10:00 AM: participate in the above or take a tour of Montreal. Tour includes the world renown botanical gardens (Gardins Botanique) The chalet atop Mount Royal and if we have time, the Art Museum (Musee des Arts). Finish on stylish Sherbrook Street with a visit to Holt Renfrew (Canada’s Bloomingdale’s). Lunch at the Ritz Hotel.

Dinner: Il Molino. The best Italian restaurant in town: (Italian Restaurant)

Sunday

Complimentary full American breakfast in Les Continents Restaurant: 6:00AM to 11:00AM
Race Day. We travel to the track together and take in the Formula One circus at its best. This is a daylong event. We will be back at the hotel by 4:00PM in time to freshen up for dinner.

Dinner at Newtown’s Restaurant. Newtown is the English translation of Ville Neuve. This restaurant is owned by Jacques Villeneuve, former F1 World champion and Indy 500 winner. The Restaurant is stylish and the food is excellent. And one never knows who will dine there after the race, besides us, of course.

Monday

Option: Complimentary full American breakfast in Les Continents Restaurant, 6:00AM to 11:00AM

We drive home. Pick your own pace.
